Governor Sule Lamido of jigawa state has said his administration saved
five billion Naira from financial prudence of the jigawa state
finances in the last seven years
Addressing a conglomeration of workers of different cadre on the
occasion of farewell to the state workers as part of activities making
the exit of his administration stated his government was able to
restored confidence in the civil service
Other achievements include observance of financial prudence under due
process guidelines, and transparent service delivery.
According to him, on coming on board of his administration, we
inherited an isolated garden due to decentralization of the state
civil service to local government areas, but with your collective
efforts, hard working we were able to excavate jigawa from below sea
level to what the state was now
“All what we offered as staff motivation, provision of working tools
and functional vehicles were done to restored government institutions
to propel not to collapse” Therefore I urged you to safeguard these
institutions from public vandalization for our collective pride in
future.
In his remarks, the Chairman jigawa state Civil Service Commission,
Dr. Tanko Abubakar Ayuba reminded the civil servants to be law
abiding, punctual to duty, and indulge from any act detrimental to
civil service rules and regulations.
Also speaking, the jigawa state Head of service, Alh. Mustapha Aminu,
(mni) commended Governor Lamido’s administration in offsetting workers
impediments for an enabling working environment.
