Military spokesman, Chris Olukolade confirmed that Nigeria troops have today rescued 293 Children and women during a raid of 3 Boko Haram camps in Sambisa forest Borno state.
” a total of 200 children were rescued ; were are still screning them, we can not say catigorically weather those rescued are part of the missing Chibok Girls. We also rescued 93 elderly women during the operation making a total of 293 rescued people ” Olukolade said.
Residents in Borno state, particularly parents guidiace and relatives of the missing Chibok gilrs are very Optimistic that their children may be amongst rescued people.
“We canot wait for the military to finish it’s screening of people rescued ; we belive that our children will be among the rescued people “ Haruna Musa, one of the parents of the missing Chibok girls said.
