The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Adamawa State in the just
concluded Presidential election held last Saturday won in fourteen out
of the 21 local government areas.
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won in seven local government areas.
The areas won by the APC include, Shelleng, Mayo Belwa, Yola South,
Yola North, Toungo and Mubi North.
Also, the APC won in Maiha, Mubi South, Hong, Girei, Fufore, Jada,
Ganye and Gombi local government areas.
The PDP won in Lamurde, Song, Guyuk, Demsa, Numan, Michika and
Madagali local government areas.
Even though there were reports of over voting in two units of Ribadu
village, the electoral officer and his presiding officer have been
directed to re-collate the figures before they are finally added and
corrected.
Meanwhile, the figures as announced showed that while the APC has
346992 votes, the PDP has 235661 votes.
