Information available to 247ureports.com confirms that only two remaining Local Government Areas affected by the Boko Haram destruction will conduct its election exercises outside the LGA.
Mubi North, Mubi South, Maiha and other liberated areas will now vote in their respective places.
According to the Resident Electoral Commissioner INEC in Adamawa State Alhaji Abba Yusuf should the areas of Michika and Madagali be declared safe for voting then the election exercise will be conducted at the two LGAs.
He also disclosed that so far, 1,366,237 (one million, three hundred and Sixty Six thousand, two hundred and thirty seven) permanent voters cards representing 87.27 percent has been distributed.
Speaking further, Alhaji Abba said 191,322 PVCs are yet to be collected which is 12.28%.
He pointed out however that PVC distribution was still ongoing and expressed optimism that it will be done.
Alhaji Abba Yusuf also said non sensitive materials have already been distributed to all the local government areas in the state.
