The Ribadu Square was filled by an unprecedented crowd to hear the
APC Presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari speak.
Shortly before his arrival some youths had carried a mock coffin
signifying the death of the PDP.
And in his speech Buhari reiterated his stand that the PDP has run as
a government without anything to show for it in the last sixteen
years.
According to Buhari insecurity has devastated many while IDPs have
lost virtually everything to the insurgents saying an administration
run by him would alleviate their sufferings.
In his speech, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar said the present
PDP administration was a caretaker one.
To this end, APC will bring a government that will provide jobs and
security for all.
In Adamawa, he says, all the seats will be won by APC and advice all
to vote for change.
Chairman of the party Chief Odigie Oyegun, presented the party’s flag
to Jibrilla Bindowo the Adamawa governorship candidate.
On his part, the APC governorship candidate Senator Jibrilla Bindowo
believes Buhari will solve the insurgency problem facing the North
East.
He urged the people to ensure they get their PVC’s and thanked the
crowd for their turn out.
Director General of the North East campaign organization for Buhari,
Mr. Boss Mustapha said APC will win the 33 states so far visited.
