Mario Cuomo, former governor of New York has gone to meet his Maker at age 82.
His son, Andrew Cuomo is currently the governor of New York. Late Cuomo passed yesterday as his son was being sworn in for his second term in office.
Mario was an eloquent, passionate progressive politician with moderate views and vision with commonsense approach to New York State [Empire State] governance. As an eloquent orator, he was vaulted to frontrunner status in the Democratic presidential field after keynote speech at 1984 Democratic party Convention.
He will be missed for his political wit and wisdom.
