It was gathered that the meeting between Ohakim and Araraume took place between 8am and 11am Thursday morning and that it was the senator who drove to the ex-governor’s house.
Our correspondent gathered that the visit might not be unconnected with the next Monday’s governorship primary election, where Araraume is rumoured to have been technically knocked out.

This, it was learnt, followed Araraume’s inability to get his associates to be among the PDP delegates who are the people voting in the primaries. So far, the delegates are reported to have been shared between Ohakim and Chief Emeka Ihedioha, deputy speaker of the House of Representatives.
