The Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] Governor of Ekiti State, Fayose has called the theatrics of the newly appointed running mate [Prof. Yemi Osibanjo] to the All Progressive Congress [APC] presidential candidate [General Mohammadu Buhari] a fake and dishonest. The Governor made the statement on the morning [10am] of December 26, 2014 while appearing at Ekiti State owned Television and radio – under the program “Meet the Governor”

He called the sudden campaign move by the newly appointed running mate to General Buhari falsehood. In the words of the Governor, “if its not Oshoko, it can’t be Oshoko. The APC VP, Osibanjo is only copycatting, he’s not been riding in BRT before now, The people won’t fall for it”.

Prof. Yemi Osibanjo had recently taken to campaigning on the local metropolitan public transport buses [BRT] with local residents of Lagos State. Osibanjo addressed the bus passengers and took questions on the candidacy of Buhari. The bus campaign project was said to have been managed to avoid unflattering questions or comments from the passengers. This was in addition to the numbers of security agents that accompanied Osibanjo into the buses.
