Leader of the Boko Haram terrorists group, severally said to have been killed by the Nigeria army had again appeared in a fresh video denying any form of truce with government of Nigeria even as he threatened more attacks and killings, report says.
Shekau who appeared in the video standing before what looked like a congregation of followers in what seemed a setting for Friday prayers spoke in both Arabic and Hausa for about 42 minutes. His speech in Hausa was lasted for about 20 minutes.
He celebrated his members and supporters both within and outside the shores of Nigeria for what he called a victory over Nigeria.
“To all Muslims and to all devout and to all Mujahideen; My esteemed brethren, Allah has bestowed on us Islamic victory. And we pray to Allah to give us the opportunity to fight infidels on the face of the earth.
“We fight and kill whoever opposes what the Prophet brought.
“My brethren in Islam, we are living in Islamic Caliphate. We send our greetings to our brethren living in Islamic Caliphate. The Caliphate in Iraq and Syria.
“My brethren in Islam wherever you may be – in Afghanistan, in Pakistan, in Azerbaijan, in Shishan, in blessed Yemen, in Somalia – to everyone living in Islamic Caliphate, we convey our greetings at this moment.
“Look at this Nigeria, liar. Look at these tyrants. They are sabotaging Islam.
“We have indeed established an Islamic Caliphate. We have indeed established an Islamic Caliphate.
“This is an amazing thing. Victory from Allah!
“We don’t call ourselves Boko Haram. We are Jama’atu Ahlissunnah Lidda’awati Wal Jihad.
“In what way do we make ceasefire with you? In what way? You assume I have made truce with you. And you claimed you killed Shekau. Did Shekau rise from his grave? What do you want to say?
“If Allah decides I die today, by Allah I will die. This is beyond them.
“And know my brethren that there is no truce between me and Nigerian tyrants (government), simple.
“There is nothing between us and Nigerian tyrants except Jihad. Kill them, cut their necks, strike them, don’t leave them. You are Mujahideen.
