The Supreme leader of the Egbesu Mightier Fraternity has asked
President Goodluck Jonathan to, without delay, remove from office the
re-appointed Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration
and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Mr. Ziakede Patrick Akpobolokemi, or
resign as President of Nigeria.
General Oleke Sele’s call for President Jonathan to fire his maritime
agency’s boss stems from the reason that Mr. Akpobolokemi’s
mis-conducted himself in the wake of the militancy and recently
boosted that he is going to deal with the militant group “Egbesu
Mightier Fraternity” who refuses to embrace amnesty in the Niger Delta
region, stressing that as the director general in charge of the
riverine areas of the region have map out plans to flush them out
immediately in conjunction with all the security operatives.
In a press statement made available to 247ureports.com said,
the Supreme Leader intimated that Mr. Akpobolokemi lied to Niger
Deltans and Nigerians that he is not a contractor to the NIMASA a
situation which later turned out to be untrue, were he uses fictitious
companies to amass wealth.
“We have documents linking him of fictitious contracts from the
NIMASA. We will soon release them on the media to substantiate of our
allegation against him. Let him also prepare for our battle with him.
If Mr. President fails to remove him as the director general of NIMASA
in the next three (3) days, then we will destroy crude and gas
pipelines across the Niger Delta. Any destruction of those pipelines
should be blamed on Mr. Patrick Akpobolokemi Ziakede. If he resigns or
the president relief him of his appointment, then we will stop the
vandalisation,”the supreme leader warned.

The Supreme leader said Mr. Akpobolokemi’s conduct is a denigration of
the highest office of the land and a gross disrespect to the good
people of this country.

He went on to add that what the NIMASA Boss did was not only
‘terrible’ but a ‘bad precedent’ where persons at the Office of the
President can use the presidency to vilify and harass innocent
Nigerians and boosted that those Niger Deltans that engages illegal
bunkering will see hell on the water ways because the seal of the
presidency covers him.
“Mr. Patrick Akpobolokemi Ziakede told some of his friends that he
will not be a poor man after leaving office because what he has got is
enough to sustain him in life. He said apart from Petroleum ministry,
he can’t occupy any other position in Jonathan’s administration”, he
said.

The outspoken General Oleke also noted that Mr. Akpobolokemi’s action
is a clear demonstration that President Goodluck Jonathan was not in
charge of his administration.

“…Clearly we are seeing a situation where the president is completely
not in charge of his administration. This is not the first time we
have had persons at the presidency using the president’s name to take
actions which the president has no inkling about,” General Oleke
stressed.

Along this line General Oleke urged President Jonathan to take full
control of his government and take a decisive action against Mr.
Akpobolokemi or else….

“We are calling on President Goodluck Jonathan to put his boys to
order and stop them from using his name to bring the name of Niger
Delta and Nigeria into disrepute,” the Supreme leader advised.
He further said that what happened in Warri and Sapele in 2011 were
the Hausa communities was asked to leave the region is still fresh in
people memory, stressing that his home is well known to them and
promised to catch him at any time.

He also seized the opportunity to commend the Joint Revolutionary
Council (JRC) for their steadfastness of the struggle as they are the
Crocodiles of the Niger Delta Region and ready for Patrick
Akpbolokemi’s battle in the next three (3) days…
