Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the terrorist Jihadist group has captured another town in Borno State. The town of Damasak was reported to fall to Boko Haram today’s morning [Monday November 24].
The Nigerian security forces were said to have abandoned their posts as the terrorist group approached. Up to 30o soldiers were said to abandon their posts. A fleeing resident, Malim Massa told 247ureports.com that the soldiers abandoned their posts and fled immediately they sighted the approaching forces of the Boko Haram. “All male adults and soldiers fled the town“.
Damasak is located inside Mobar local government area.
