The noise surrounding the football associations in Nigeria regarding match fixing appears to be on the rise and more bold faced. This is according to a recent document made available to 247ureports.com by a whistle blower.
The document which is shown above purports to be a minute of a meeting held by top officials of the Kano Pillar – a football club in Nigeria. The documents states that meeting was held on May 4, 2014 to discuss the “treatment” of game officials in order to affect the outcomes of games – particularly away match. They proposed bribes to be given to referees as shown in the document.
