NO fewer than 10 fulanis were before dusk friday rescued in Abakaliki metropolis by a combined team of Anti-Cultism and Anti-Robbery men and officers of the Ebonyi State Police Command.

The incident which led to many of them (fulanis) wounded and some half dead is still vague as some observers alleged that it was a clash between them and some citizens of the State.

In a telephone conversation with our Correspondent, the State Police Spokesman, ASP Chris Anyanwu who confired the incident, stated that the circumstances surrounding the incident was still sketchy as some of the Fulani Herdsmen were in an unconcious state when they were brought to the headquarters of the Command.

According to him, the police would brief the press as soon as the remote and immediate causes of the incident must have been ascertained.

Meanwhile security operatives have cordoned off the location of the incident.
