Anambra : APC uncovers plot to hoard INEC permanent cards for rigging

Our great party- All Progressives Congress (APC)  has uncovered a heinous plot by corrupt officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC),

working in collaboration with two parties currently occupying incumbency position s in Anambra State Government and the Federal Government to seat on cards meant to be issued out to Anambra State citizens under a guise that will make the cards re-surface in the wrong hands during the general elections next year.

Some of the excuses that have been proposed for use are fading photographs, stained paper cards, and in some cases n0o reason at all.

Areas targeted in this condemnable plot include, Onitsha South, Idemili North, Ihiala, Idenmili South, Onitsha North and Anaocha, Awka South and Dunukofia.

It is to our knowledge that huge sums of money running into billions of Naira has been earmarked for this evil project, and are about now ready to be disbursed to contacts under the watch of our party operatives.

Their brief is to deny Anambra State citizens the right to possess the INEC permanent cards billed for distribution in 4,608 polling units across the state from Friday August 15 to Sunday August 17, 2014 and use it to compromise the elections in 2015.

We are not surprised that the two political parties that  are virtually distinguishable , and become close-knit when the issue is pervasion of the people will disfranchising Anambra State citizens are involved in the desperate machination., because  the practice is  their joint stock in trade.

We are however shocked that after a mass sack involving the dismissal of 16 staff form the Anambra State INEC, there are still enough number and will to engage in this unwholesome practice.

We are quick to one those involved in this plan to take steps backwards .as the vigilance being mobilized in Anambra State my multiple well-meaning stakeholders  in Anambra will stand firmly against this plan and will do anything within legitimacy to thwart them.

We implore the leadership of INEC in Anambra State, and the security agencies in the State are to pay close attention to their staff, particularly those involved in the proposed exercise, while the people of Anambra State are strongly advised not to leave room for anyone to defraud the electorate with their uncollected cards.

We therefore request them to troupe out un masse at the weekend and exchange their paper cards for the PVC  cards to enable them reclaim their  rights to elect their leaders in February next year , if not before.

Voters who encounter any problems along the lines stated above are to contact the nearest office of APC, or send an instant email to  or call07016835004 for assistance.

We seize this opportunity to request INEC to consider a longer duration for the card exchange exercise to enable everyone collect his /card.
