Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that Nigerian soldiers stationed in Zaria Kaduna state has shot and killed the Son of the controversial Islamic leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqub Zakzaaky along with 11 other members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. This occurred as army opened fire on Quds procession held after Jumaat prayers in Zaria, Kaduna state.
247ureports.com gathered that the procession which took off from S/gari Jumaat Mosque and reached Kofar Doka peacefully without a violent incident. However as the procession approached the popular PZ junction, some of the soldiers stationed nearby opened fire on the procession.
They shot Mahmud Ibraheem Zakzaky the son of the cleric who was taken away by the Muslim brothers to immediate medical treatment. Several other Muslim brothers were also shot.
According to the latest report, the attack by soldiers on the Quds peaceful procession indicates that ten Muslim brothers were gunned down by the soldiers along with a Muslim Sister with her child on her back.
Over 40 Muslim brothers sustained injuries from gun shots.
