The leader of Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has said that his greatest regret in life so far was his decision to sabotage and elude former governor Ikedi Ohakim’s choice for second term in office.

He made this known at the maiden Okigwe zonal youth delegates conference that was organized by Okigwe Youth Assembly (OYA), where he appealed for regrettably actions he took against their son over false information scored against him that he never verified.

Pointing out that the too many reasons why Okigwe never completed their tenure through Ohakim’s administration were based on issues of disunity among the elites of the zone, he stressed that he is not far from the picture, because he played a major role which to him sabotaged their chances of completing the eight years tenure in office.

“Okigwe zone as loved by God is ahead of other zones in the country. We have the best of educated people, and that was why Imo experienced the kind of Ohakim, who I will say is among the most brilliant governors ever produced in Nigeria. Sabotaging him was based on uninformed choices, which today I have regretted,” he said.

Urging people of the zone not to relent in recapturing their mandate come 2015, Chief Uwazuruike assured of his maximum support to any consensus candidate, adding that he would use all his instrumentality to install and actualize the course.
