Two Notorious Criminals Cool off in Navy Net

Nemesis has caught up with two youths alleged to be involved in degrees of crimes in Anambra State when they fell into the trap of Nigeria Navy, Onitsha Outpost at Iyiowa Oduekpe in Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state after allegedly stealing a Lady‘s motorcycle some meters away from the office of Naval men while the second suspect arrested also confessed of having been involved in defrauding his unsuspecting victims in the state under impunity.

The suspects who gave their names as Chigbo Daniel Obiasomba and Benjamin Olisa from Ukpor in Idemili South Council Area of Anambra State and Kwale in Oshmili South Local Government Area of Delta State respectively attributed their shortcomings as the handiwork of the Devil.

The Devil’s incarnates at the age brackets of 21/ 22 were arrested by the men of the Nigeria Navy as part of the promises made by the Commanding Officer, Navy Captain Michael Oamen who had vowed never to give breathing space to the men of the underworld within his stay in Anambra State.

Parading the suspects before newsmen in his office at Iyiowa Oduekpe, the Commanding Officer frowned over the negativity behaviours of our youths, cautioning every youth in the state and the nation at large to rethink and make proper use of their time.

Charging all criminally minded people in the State to make U-turn and be engaged in meaningful way of life and shun anything capable of ridiculing the image of their family and the nation by extension he made it known that the Navy is going to work in synergy with other security agencies in the state in giving the criminals a hot chase.

Confessing to the crime, Chigbo Daniel Obiasomba said he left his father’s shop at No. 4 Iweka Road Onitsha where they are doing their daily business to Iyiowa to steal the motorcycle with registration number QB 246 FGG so as to pay someone he is owing five thousand naira. “I came to steal the said motorcycle in order to pay one Ebuka whom I owe five hundred naira and unlucky to me, I fell into the trap of the Navy men” He confessed.

Benjamin Olisa Kwale in Oshmili South Local Government Area of Delta in his confession said; “I got involved into this mess after I was duped by the youths from Obosi in Idemili North Local Government Area of over #1.8million and I had no option than to join them so as to I will recouping what I lost.

They however pleaded for leniency, promising that they will go and sin no more if they should be allowed to go but the Commanding Officer even after the plea of the suspected criminals said he was going to hand them over to the police for proper investigation and prosecution.
