President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed Roli Bode-George, the wife of a former Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Bode George, as the new Director General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
President’s spokesperson Reuben Abati said this in a press release issued on Thursday. The appointment is with immediate effect, he added.
Mrs Bode-George takes over from Olufemi Ajayi, who was on Wednesday appointed the Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF).
Mr. George, a leader of the PDP in Lagos, is a delegate at the ongoing National Conference.
