Zamfara State Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Barrister Malami Aliyu ‘Yan Doto on Monday resigned his appointment and Leave All Progressive Congress Party APC and joined the People Democratic Party PDP

 

247ureports.com gathered that Barrister Malami Aliyu ‘Yan Doto submitted his resignation letter at Government House in Gusau, as he was not comfortable with the way the Governor of Zamfara state Abdul-Azeez Yari Abubakar are destroying the state economically.

 

Barrister Malami Aliyu ‘Yan Doto quoted are saying “Series of recent developments, especially the decision of my boss, Governor Governor Abdul-Azeez Yari Abubakar and his boss senator Ahmad Sani Yerima to destroyed Zamfara state economically formed the basis of his decision to leave the cabinet, APC and to joined the PDP.

 

“I am a man that fears God and I am also principled too. I belong to the people of the state and cannot continue to remain in the cabinet when my principal has left to join another party.”

 

Director PressAffairs to Governor Abdul-Azeez Yari Abubakar, Mallam Nuhu Salihu Anka, who spoke on the development, said it was Barrister Malami Aliyu ‘Yan Doto’s choice to resign and wished him well in his future endeavour.

 

“The man decided to leave the cabinet. That is his choice and we wish him well in whatever he decides to do after,” Nuhu Salihu Anka said in a telephone interview.
