Barely 48 hours after some unknown gunmen stormed Misau town of Misau local government area in trying to unleashed attack in the area, which was foiled by security men’s alertness, unidentified gunmen have succeeded in killing two customs officers in Bauchi state.
247ureports.com gathered that the gunmen ambushed the customs officers in between Sade and Lanzai town in Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State, along Bauchi-Maiduguri road.
The hoodlums ambushed the customs officers who were on official assignment from Geidam town of Yobe state.
The hoodlums attacked the vehicle of the customs officers and instantly shot and killed one of them while the other officer was burnt with the vehicle.
Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Custom Service Bauchi state command, Samuel Ja’afar Gulak, confirmed the attack but failed to provide more information on the attack, saying that the command will provide details of the attack after necessary investigation.
