Akubuo stressed that the group after their general meeting held on the 4th of April in Owerri resolved to support Atiku    for the president of the country if he declares his interest to contest.

He maintained that Atiku’s support by the group stems from his credibility and steadfastness which he noted has made him stand out among other contenders.

“He is a detribalised Nigerian and a perfect gentleman who detest cheating and believes in the spirit of rotation ,the poster have been pasted in all the south east states, so we would not rest until he declares for president,” Akubuo stated.

Akubuo further emphasised that Atiku is the right man the country needs now especially as it is confronted with many security challenges. He also believed that the education system in the country would be better of with Atiku at the helms of affair.

He affirmed that TEA has registered over 1,000 supporters in the south east with more intending to join in the call for Atiku to run for the presidency just as he called for more support from the people of the south east.
