Former member representing Guri, Birniwa kirikasamma local government
areas at the federal legislature and one time commissioner of
education in Jigawa state Hon, Abba Anas Adamu called on the federal
government and the ruling party to sack former head of state, general
olusegun obasanjo from the party and his political supporters
because they are not respecting the leaders of the party
Anas expressed his mind over the weekend with 247reports.com in his
house. He explained further that obasanjo and lamido are twins in
blackmailing the leadership of this country and they were among the
people who received the federal government support and benefit from
the party but due to their behavioral attitude they betrayed the
leaders and the ruling party
He explained further that no state in the federation among the 36 in the
country that its people were facing difficulties and
political machination – with all amount money Jigawa is receiving from
the federal government -yet people are suffering
with poverty and
unemployment.
He accused Jigawa state government for not using the federal
government fund meant for SURE-P – meant for eradicating the
menace of poverty and unemployment. The state government, according to him, had
diverted the money – a situation which led to many staff being unpaid for up to
three month – while others have divorced their wife due to nonpayment of
their monthly salary by the agency. Anas added that very soon the
federal government will constitute a committee that will take over
the affairs of the Jigawa people democratic party because it was
discovered that there were no signs of leadership in the state PDP
