The result of the Anambra state governorship opinion poll conducted by the
Transition Observer Group (TOG) has been released.The opinion poll which
was gotten from an interview data conducted by TOB from August 27th to 2nd
October,2013 was released in Awka this morning by the Coordinator Mr John
Nwokeocha.The group employed Focus group discussions,In-depth interviews
and paticipant observation strategies to gather information from the
electorates on the candidate they prefare to win the Nov 16th Governorship
electon in Anambra State.Part of the inclusion date sampled ranged from
Political experience,Integrity,Antecedents,Responsibility and
Competence,while the research focused on the candidates of the major
political parties in the state including the PDP,APGA,LABOUR
PARTY,APC,UPP,ACCORD PARTY,HOPE PARTY amongst others

While releasing the result,Mr John Nwokeocha noted that Comrade Tony Nwoye
of PDP scored 75% to beat the candidates of Labor Party,APGA and APC that
scored 52%,49% and 41% respectively
In a related development,Pharm Ikeagwonwu Chinedu Klinsman,a member of the
ICT and Communication Unit of Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation while
fielding questions from press men noted that the result of the Opinion
poll conducted by the Transition Observers Group was actually a true
reflection of the wishes of the electorates.In his words ‘Anambra state is
a PDP state and the emergency of Comrade Tony Nwoye as the PDP candidate
has shown that the people of the state desire a change from the present
status quo of Politics of deceit and Jingoism .Anambra people needed a
voice in the affairs of governance in the state and have thus elected
Comrade Tony Nwoye as the PDP candidate in the forth-coming guber election
in the state’.

While thanking the members of the TOG that conducted the poll on their
transperency and honesty,Pharm Ikeagwuonwu Klinsmann deposited that
Comrade Tony Nwoye is still much in the race against negative and paid
reports being dispensed by some News media across the country,in his words
he noted that Comrade Tony Nwoye is in court to recover the mandate given
to him by the people of Anambra state and in a few days,the court of
Appeal will give their postive verdict.We wish to assure our supporters
that we are on top of the situation and ask them to remain steadfast and
strong as directed by the DG of Tony Nwoye Campaign Organisation Chief
Okey Ezenwa few days ago.In a few days,the Campaign Organisation will make
a public statement concerning the election,he concluded

When contacted,the representatives of APGA,APC and Labour parties declined
to comment on the Opinion Poll while the DG of Willy Obiano Campaign
Organisation switched off his phone
