More daring revelations of the person who lodged in room 102 of Upper Class hotel, Onitsha demolished allegedly for harbouring kidnappers by Anambra state government was revealed yesterday by solicitors of Chief Bonaventure Mokwe,

In a strong worded petition to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar , endorsed by Associate Professor of law, Dr M.N Umenweke made available to newsmen yesterday in Onitsha , the Glory chambers said the person who lodged in the room where the ‘’human heads’’ were allegedly discovered was one Olisa Egbuchiem from Umudie village, Onitsha.

Mokwe is the detained proprietor of Upper Class Hotel, Onitsha, which was demolished on Thursday, August 1, 2013, on the orders of Governor Peter Obi, following alleged discovery of some decomposing human heads and arms inside the hotel room.

The petition tagged ,’’ Re: Frame-up and giving of false information to the police in respect of possession of two human  heads, gun and military cap against Chief Bonaventure Mokwe by Ayadi Mba, Olisa Egbuchiem , Arinze Chukwurah and others stated categorically that the person who lodged in the hotel is known to them.

Part of the petition read thus, ‘’ ………it is our instruction that our client wrote a petition to you on the above mentioned issue and prayed for a fair and unbiased investigation into the episode which he maintained was a set up. Copy of the petition written by our client through his solicitor in this regard dated 1/8/13 is hereby attached and marked Exh ‘’A’’. The special Anti-robbery squad , Awkuzu is already investigating the matter.

‘’It is our instructions that more details of the plot to incarcerate and possible annihilate our client has come to light. The following persons have been traced to be involved in the plot and planting of the human heads, gun and military cap in the Upper Class Hotel , property of our client. They are as follows:

‘’Ayadi Mba from Umudie village Onitsha , financed the entire plot. Olisa Egbuchiem from Umudie village , Onitsha was the lodger in room 102 of Upper class Hotel, at all times material to this case. He planted the human heads, the AK 47 riffle and the military cap.

‘’Ody (Alias Eke Nweofia) of Umudie village , Onitsha . Arinze Chukwurah of Umudie village Onitsha. He is presently in the custody of the special Anti-Robbery Squad , Awkuzu, Anambra for another offence.

‘’Ejima from Onitsha, Connel from Onitsha , Owalli from Onitsha and Ogwashi (Alias Oyibo).

The petition went further to state,’’ It is our instruction that Mr Olisa Egbuchiem was the lodger in  room 102 of the Upper Class Hotel where these items were found and he can be positively identifies by the hotel staff. He actually placed those items in that room before they called in the police to come in. This led to the state Government demolishing the Upper Class Hotel , property of our client.

‘’Presently Arinze Chukwurah is in the custody of SARS Awkuzu for another offence. Our client has been in custody since the 1st of August , 2013 on the strength of this false information and set up by these persons.

‘’Sequel to the above , we respectfully appeal to you to direct the investigation of the frame-up , set up and giving false information to the police which has led to the demolition of our clients hotel , disruption of our clients source of livelihood  and his incarceration.
