The New publication relation officer of the Rivers state police command DSP Ahamed .K. Mohammed has today debunked speculations emanating from certain quarters in the state that his predecessor DSP Angela Agabe was recently redeployment as a result of the current political crisis rocking Rivers state.
Briefing journalists in port Harcourt, DSP Mohammed who was former principal personal assistant to the commissioner of police, Mr. Mbu Joseph Mbu said the redeployment is a normal routine usually take place in the Nigeria Police.
He disclosed that the former state command public relation officer has not been posted out of the command as she was redeployed to the command welfare department.
However DSP Mohammed who has also served as public relation officer in Gombe state said he would ensure that there is cordial relationship between the general public via the press.
