Last week Friday, People of Jigawa state were thrown into mourning
following the death of two prominent politicians, Jigawa Deputy
speaker of the state house of assembly, Honorable Inuwa Sule Udi and
former commissioner of information, Alhaji Salisu Ibrahim Dandoka – who
was a strong member of the APC and formerly a member of
the ACN .
Honorable Inuwa Sule Udi – a third term member representing Ringim
constituency at the Jigawa state house of assembly died along with his
driver Malam Mas’ud Ringim in a ghastly motor accident along
Kano-Ringim road, the accident occurred on Thursday night during the
heavy down pour when the driver lost control.
While the former Commissioner in the state ministry of Education and
Information during ex-Governor Saminu Turaki’s regime, Alhaji Salisu
Ibrahim Dandoka died after a brief illness at the Malam Aminu Kano
Teaching Hospital.
The deceases Deputy Speaker, Inuwa Sule and Alhaji Salisu Dandoka will
be buried in their home towns Ringim and Kazaure according to Islamic
rites, they were survived by wives, children and grandchildren.
