The director of news of Thisday newspaper, Ike Abonyi has lost the mother Ezinne Angelina Nwakaego Abonyi née Ezeme at the ripe age of 81 years.
Ezinne Abonyi who was until her death the matriarch of Ezeme family of Agudele, Adda Obollo Etiti, in Udenu local Government Areas of Enugu state was a devout catholic and a strong member of catholic women organisation CWO and St Vincent Society of St. Mary’s catholic Church parish, in Adda Obollo Etiti. She was also a community leader who would be missed for her kindness and selflessness to people.
She is survived by a sister Mrs Roseline Abah, three children and nine grand children including Ms Caroline Abonyi, Ike abonyi, and Dr. Godwin Abonyi, Chairman, Udenu local Government Area of Enugu state. She will be buried on Friday September 20, 2013 according to catholic burial tradition.
