Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the Jihadist group, the Boko Haram may have not been affected by the declaration of state of emergency by the president of the federal republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Ebelemi Jonathan. This is as the group launched an attack at the home state of the former head of state of Nigeria and leader of the Congress for Progressive Change [CPC] party, General Buhari.
According information received, a number of Jihadists were killed in Daura in Katsina State in the early hours of today [Friday] by soldiers after the Jihadists attacked a police station in the area. The spokesman for 3rd Brigade of the Nigerian army, Cpt Ikedichi Iweha disclosed this information in a chat with our correspondent this morning. He stated that assorted arms and ammunitions were recovered from the attackers. He could not say whether there were police casualty as he said he was still expecting details of the incident from his men who carried out the operation.
