*Urges Orji To Monitor Council Officials
Workers of the 17 local government areas in Abia state have received their April 2013 salaries.
A cross section of the workers who spoke to our correspondent described the development as the first of its kind and expressed gratitude to the state governor, Chief Theodore Orji.
They called on the governor to look into the activities of some management staff of the council who have continued to make the early payment of salaries impossible.
“We thank the governor for paying the April salary on time. This is the first of its kind, because we were expecting the April salary around second week of June. I believe this is the sign of better things for the workers. Ochendo should look into the activities of some management officials of the councils, workers have suffered enough from their underhand dealings,” a council staff who gave his name as Kalu told 247ureports.com.
247ureports.com checks revealed that the early payment of salaries have become a problem in most councils in the state as some officials like the Heads of Administration and Treasurers delay salaries released by the state government, leading to indiscriminate protests by workers.
What T.A is doing in the state is very appealing and he is ready to go a long way to adding more development to our communities, suburbs, capital, towns and every province, all we need is to support the governor and pray for him ,pray to God to give him grace, more wisdom, and strength to carry on to the final day
Gov TAO has done a lot to improve the welfare of Abians in Diaspora and he has showed unequal commitment to maintain peace and stability in the state, Abia government is not owing workers salary any longer, there is crime free in abia.. abia state is the best!
T.A is doing nothing! all of you praise singers, keep deceiving yourselves but time and posterity will judge us all. He has en-massed money (yes money not wealth because it will not last) since he was pulled out of prison to run the affairs of the government. He was there with Orji Uzo full time! and has continued to stash money for cheap image launderers like Ugochukwu Emezue who rubbished thriving “head to head ” carriers to soil his name and generation.
IF HE HAS THINKERS HOW COME the famous clitch “ABA MADE”
