Ahead of the 2015 general elections in Nigeria, Leader of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu has warned of an impending danger in the Country in an event that corrupt public office holders do not quit.
Leader Obu spoke through the Spokesman of the Fold, Elder (Pastor) P.U.T. Ibeabuchi while addressing newsmen on the 2013 Mega event of the Fold tagged-The Hidden Manna.
He berated Nigerian leaders for the high level of corruption in the system, warning them to leave the stage or face the wrath of God; even as He urged those aspiring to lead the country to seek the face of God first.
“As Nigerians strategize ahead of the 2015 Polls, we hereby warn all those jostling for election and re-election in the Country to seek God’s face first, or damn the consequences. There shall be growing mutual suspicion in the Country if corrupt leaders do not quit. This is the era of the Holy Spirit and all those who do not want the children of God to enjoy the blessings the Creator has kept for us shall have themselves to blame.”
“Take note that in an event that God is not placed first, the kind of calamity that may befall the country shall be better imagined than experienced. For all those that have the culture of looting public Treasury, they must be rest assured that the wrath of God is inescapable. Make no mistakes; world peace shall remain a mirage if the world does not recognize, obey and worship the Almighty God who is physically dwelling in our midst. Sure, there are more calamities ahead. The times are evil and desperate and that is the essence of the Hidden Manna celebration-to fortify the children of God against the challenging times ahead.”
On the Hidden Manna celebration, he says, “The Hidden Manna is the 2013 Mega event of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. It is presented by the Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu and His Christ, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, in preparation for the approaching challenging times. The event will guarantee the safety, security and fortification of the brethren. The Hidden Manna is the celebration of the permanency and sufficiency of Christ. It comes with the blessings of Eternal Security.”

On the incessant killings in the world, he says, “We condemn in unequivocal terms, the incessant killings and maiming of innocent people across the globe by insurgents. This is an obvious show of lack of love. As children of God, we have been warned by the Scriptures not to kill. All those who shed human blood must realize that the wrath of God awaits them. For the Boko Haram Sect, the surest solution to the problem is love. For kidnappers, they must also realize that God’s judgement awaits them.”
