Press Statement:
Once again we are faced with the machinations of murderers who will not rest until they suck human blood. A few days after a family of 10 was gunned down in Plateau state at a funeral, Aduwan Gida in Zangon Kataf LG of Kaduna State experienced the same scenario where mourners at a funeral became the mourned. A large number of Fulani gunmen came at night at a funeral and opened fire on innocent and arm less mourners killing five adults and a 6 month old baby. The number of fatally injured persons cannot be ascertained besides the simply wounded. This kind of scenario can only be seen in movies and in the thought processes of wicked and evil men.
We condemn this dastardly act and the security agents found scattered in zone 3 of the state have once more been caught napping. We have waited on the government to protect the lives and property of innocent and law abiding citizens to no avail. Severally this maniacal massacre has repeated itself in zone 3 without any reprisals in either zone 2 or zone 1 of the state. It clearly tells a story of a grand design to annihilate a people and we hold the Kaduna State government responsible for this crime against humanity.
The press statement made by Government through Ahmed Maiyaki, DG Media and Publicity is rather unfortunate as he deliberately failed to commiserate or even address or condemn the massacre, instead Government was concerned with warning citizens not to break order. This speaks volumes and shows a tacit support by Government of this murderous act.
Finally, we would also want to make it clear that we would not fold our hands and watch while our people are being killed and our Villages destroyed all in the ploy or a calculated attempt by the Fulani to completely annihilate us ,since the Government has failed on its own part of the social contract ie protecting the life’s and property of its Citizenry .

what does arm less mourners mean? unless the writer intends another meaning, the grammatical meaning is that the mourners have no arms or hands. But if he wanted to write that they had no arms in the sense of weapons, he should have written unarmed and not arm less. And even if arm less was right, it should have been one word. Does this mean there is nobody with a pass in English language at WAEC exams among the people that write and post these things?
Was it so hard for you to see it as a typographical error? It seemed obvious that what was meant was ‘harmless’ and not ‘armless’. I don’t know what is causing your bitterness.
From the tone of the message passed across by the news, clearly goes on to show that it’s only now that the people living that area are just becoming conscious that there are experiences of life been lost.. It’s not good to take life under any guise. As it is so sacred that only the Creator determines who dies and when. But it is like all the previous killings meted and in some instances dastardly act of putting the corpses inside wells,burning them, at times even carnivalisttic misbehavior portrayed were all nothing and it’s only this time that an offense has been committed and government should be held responsible. There are still displaced people at refugee camps scattered across the state. That is why it always good, to reject any negative actions, portrayed by whomsoever and that came from wherever and not whipping cheap sentiments that cannot carry anyone any where. My commiserations go to the bereaved and my prayers against re-occurrence.

His bitterness is just because one of the numerous silent attacks on our people is been reported against his/their wish. we may not know him by name but God knows him.
Its bad i cried in April,2011 when the Hausas and Fulanis were massacred in thousands at Zonkwa, Zongo Katab LGA of Kaduna state.No report or punishment or even a step taken by the then Governor to address that animalistic action but only to set a comittee of enquiry after they submitted their report hwhich didnt favours his people he again set another comittee. The price of injustice is always too big to bear. I am now crying again seing innocent souls who might have condemned the April 20011 killings been killed. Its animalistic and horroic manner of the people of Southern Kaduna. Why must it always be southern Kaduna and Jos we here killings by the people whose grand parents lived in harmony and love. You MUST stop this barbaric attitude NOW! We are tired of you of killing your own selves please.
