Four security men were feared killed, yesterday,  when unknown gunmen attacked WAMCO Nigeria Limited in Vom, Jos South Local Government Area of  Plateau State.

LEADERSHIP investigation revealed that the incident occurred at about 2 am Tuesday and claimed the lives of four security men on duty.

It was further learnt that the security guards died as a result of   gunshot wounds.

An eye witness told our correspondent that men of the Special Task Force who stormed the area shortly after the attack killed two of the assailants in a  gun battle.

LEADERSHIP also gathered that the gun men who killed the security guard in different spots did not carry away anything from the company.

Spokesman of the STF, Captain Salisu Mustapha, when contacted said that he was not aware of the attack.

As a result of this Government House chapel, Jos declared a three day prayer and fasting session for the restoration of lasting peace in the state.

The Government Chaplain, Rev Chidi Harrison stated this while interacting with journalists in Jos.

He said that prominent preachers were expected to grace the occasion and pray for the state and added that a similar programme was held last year which resulted in a lot of blessings for the state and its citizens.

Rev Chidi said that the prayers were meant to seek the face of God to intercede in the problems of the state.
