The government of Imo State under the leadership of Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha has filed an appeal against the court of appeals ruling yesterday ousting the Rochas Okorocha-appointed local government area [LGA] transitional chairmen and councilors.
This revelation was contained in a press release from the commissioner of information, Chinedu Offor. The press release stated, “The government of Imo State has noted the judgment of the Court of Appeal even though it is yet to be served a copy of the judgment and wish to assure Imolites that there is no cause for alarm. This administration is law abiding and believes in the rule of law. Government will not tolerate any breach of public peace as a result of this judgment. Everyone is therefore enjoined to refrain from creating scenarios capable of disturbing public peace. The government has already filed an appeal against the judgment of the court.”
WHAT IS THIS LAWLESS GOVERNOR APPEALLING AGAINST.?
DID HE NOT KNOW THAT HE DID NOT WIN AT THE HIGH COURT?
WHAT THE CHIEF JUDGE MERELY DID WAS TO EXPLAIN THAT THE GOVERNOR HAD NO RIGHTS UNDER OUR CONSTITUTION TO DO WHAT HE DID BUT GAVE HIM A WAIVER SAYING THAT THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE THAT THE THIRD TIER OF GOVERNMENT WAS SACKED.
THE JUDGE KNOWS HOW LAWLESS THE MAN ROCHAS IS.
IF THE JUDGE HAD RULED OTHERWISE MAYBE HE WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED BY HIS THUGS BY NOW.
THE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER KNOWS THAT THE MAN ROCHAS IS LAWLESS AND WICKED OTHERWISE HE WOULD NOT HAVE DISOLVED THE COUNCILS IN THE FIRST INSTANCE

I DONT KNOW ANYBODY MORE LAWLESS THAN IKIRI, THE MAN WHO ORGANIZED THE SO-CALLED ELECTION THAT BROUGHT IN THE SO CALLED CHAIRMEN AND COUNCILORS. WE DONT WANT YOU. YOU WERE THERE SHARING MONEY AND ENGAGING IN USELESS POLITICKING. IMO STATES NEEDS THE MONEY YOU WERE SHARING FOR HER DEVELOPMENT. WE DO NOT WANT LOCAL GOVERNMENT NONSENSE ANYMORE. @Obianefo, whatever be the case, Rochas or any governor, does not have right or power to sack an elected LG. If he feels they were wrongly elected, he should for Christ sake challenge their election. I think this Rochas and his advisers are lawless and power drunk. How can one in his rightful sense engage in reckless sacking of people who are Imolites. He sacked the LG, JSC, 10000 job scheme, autonomous communities etc. I know all these people are in court and they will definitely floor him. He shall learn his lessons in a hard way. God is on his throne.
