Information reaching 247ureports.com obtained through a source within the Nigerian Secret Police [DSS] indicates that the DSS has continued to investigate the case against the recently arrested Justices of the Supreme Courts and other Justices around the country – even after the President of Nigeria, General Mohammadu Buhari had issued a directive for the investigation be moved over to the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC]. And the Secret Police appears to have adopted on harassing the family relatives of the Justices as their investigation tactics.

Particularly, the DSS has invited the wife of Justice Adeniyi Ademola to report at the DSS office in Abuja on the morning of Thursday October 27, 2016. Mrs Ademola serves as a Permanent Secretary under the Lagos State Government. At the time of drafting this report, Mrs. Ademola is said to be airborne en-route to Abuja from Lagos.  Adeniyi Ademola is one of the judges of the Federal High Court arrested by the DSS. He arrested on the weekend of October 15, 2016.

It is uncertain the reason the DSS has invited the wife of Justice Ademola but the source revealed that the DSS may have chosen to adopt harassment  and/or intimidation of close family associates to the Judges as means of getting to the Judges. The objective of the DSS is to get the Judges to resign. Our source hinted that the DSS wants to accuse the Judge for using his position a Judge to blackmail the Lagos State Government.

Justice Ademola had claimed that he was being intimidated by the DSS for granting bail to ex-NSA,Sambo Dasuki and ruling that Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, be freed.
