Loading ...The legal battle for the political soul of Takum/Donga/Ussa/Yangtu Federal Constituency of Taraba State has commenced with Hon. Audu Israel Tseaga asking a Federal High Court in Abuja to nullify the primary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), citing serious irregularities.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, APC and Rt. Hon. Mark Bako Useni have been listed as defendants in the
suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/1128/2026.
In adjourning the case for the hearing of the Motion on Notice, Justice Inyang Ekwo granted leave for the originating processes to be served on Rt. Hon. Mark Bako Useni.
Hon. Tseaga is challenging the outcome of the primary election, insisting that he is entitled to the ticket of the APC in the constituency.
With this suit, the political battle has now moved from the ballot to the courtroom.
