Bauchi Gov’s aide denies collecting double Salaries

Liman explained this following the accusations labeled against him, via a letter linked to the law firm G. Hassan & Co, Sahara Reporters and other social and print media platforms, they accused Mr. Liman of holding two government positions at once: Chief Executive Officer (Accounts), SGL 14, in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation posted to the Federal Ministry of Works, Jos, and his current role as SSA in Bauchi State appointed by Governor Bala Mohammad.

Reacting to the allegation Liman via , a letter dated 15/6/2026 signed by Barrister Nathan Umide on his behalf and addressed to the Bauchi State Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Liman described the claims as false and reputation destroying.

The solicitors said their client is not indebted to the Federal Government in any way form or manner during the period of his political appointment contrary to the numerous allegations.

The statement said the false alarm is only geared to tarnish and destroy the image of the SSA by those he has stopped from extorting the poor and hardworking roadside traders.

They stated that the claim can be verified from the relevant Federal Ministry and that Mr. Liman is awaiting a certificate of non-liability from the Federal Government to clear the allegations.

The statement added that Bauchi State Government has also received all documents relating to the matter from Mr. Liman.

It therefore advised those spreading false information to await the response to the outcome of their letters to the FG and Bauchi State.

They said. Liman initially ignored the reports as utterances of attention seekers and noise makers seeking relevance or social media clicks.

They also warned that defamation of character, cyber stalking and bullying are offences under Nigerian law, as such, their client will not hesitate further to take legal action against all persons and Bodies involved in the calculated attempt to destroy their clients person and reputation.
