All Progressives Congress APC in Anambra state has dismissed allegations in the social media that the Chairman Sen Emma Anosike is interfering with the appointment of key officers of the Renewed Hope Agenda in Anambra Noth Senatorial District.

The party to this end has also raised alarm over calculated attempts by some disgruntled persons or group of persons to bully the state Chairman through the Cyber space .
This followed reports that Anosike suspended one Arinze Awogu from being the coordinator of the Renewed Hope Agenda in Anambra North Senatorial District.
According to a release by the state Publicity Secretary of APC Sir Iyke Oliobi, the allegations are not only baseless but unfounded adding that it is an a front at distracting the party from delivering it’s candidates in the 2027 general elections in the area.
“That the said post did not emanate from the Office of the State Chairman, nor was it authorized by the party at the state level. It is not a statement of the party”
” The only persons that have the authority of the party constitutionally to make any pronouncement/press release are the State Chairman who is the leader of the party in the state and the State Publicity Secretary who is the Spokesperson of the party”
The party also described the allegations as the machinations of some expelled members of the party who filed suits against the party led by the same Arinze Awogu.
“At the party’s state meeting held at the party secretariat on Friday, June 12th, 2026, attended by all the 326 Ward Chairmen, LGA officials, zonal and state officials, and the party stakeholders only ratified the expulsion of seven members, including Sir. Arinze Awogu, Barr. Richard Egenti, Ifeanyi Osegbo, Engr. Chukwudi Kenneth Orji , Hon. Engr. Tony Uche Ezekwesili, Hon. Ossy Nwoye and Mrs. Uju Onyeañusi for instituting a court action against the party without first exhausting internal conflict-resolution mechanisms as provided in our party Constitution”
“The meeting did not discuss, nor did it make any pronouncement on, the Renewed Hope Agenda or any other support group of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, as such groups are not organs of the party and their internal affairs are outside the party’s purview”
“Consequently, the party has not made, and did not make, any announcement concerning the Renewed Hope Agenda or any non-party organ”
“The general public is hereby advised to disregard the publication”
The further announced that it has commenced investigations into the source of the report adding that it would soon take decisive actions against Cycle Bully of it’s Chairman.
“The party is already investigating to ascertain the originators of the post and take necessary legal actions against them for impersonation and libel” the party stated .
