ABUJA — Former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has sent shockwaves through the political landscape with a blistering attack on President Bola Tinubu, warning that Nigeria is facing an “evil of such a large proportion.”
In a viral statement that has set tongues wagging, the “Certified Troublemaker” of Nigerian politics compared Tinubu to Cameroon’s long-serving leader, Paul Biya. El-Rufai warned that unless the opposition unites to kick the current administration out by 2027, the President might attempt to sit on the throne for life.
“The signals are all there,” El-Rufai cautioned, painting a grim picture of the country’s trajectory. This latest outburst marks a point of no return in the messy fallout between the former FCT Minister and the Aso Rock power brokers who once walked the same path.
While the Presidency is yet to fire back, the “Paul Biya” tag is already trending, with critics and supporters alike bracing for a heavyweight political showdown.
