Applicants seeking teaching jobs in Bauchi State have commended Governor Bala Mohammed for creating employment opportunities in the state’s civil service.
The commendation came as the Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board began interviews for candidates applying for teaching positions.
Speaking at the exercise, the SUBEB Chairman, Abubakar Isa Baba, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Abdulhamid Mohammed Jibrin, advised applicants to remain calm and patient during the process.
He explained that the interviews were being conducted in phases and assured that candidates who had completed verification would be invited accordingly.
Some applicants who spoke during the exercise described the recruitment initiative as a welcome development and pledged to justify the confidence placed in them if given the opportunity to serve.
