Indeed the only thing certain about Governor Charles Soludo is uncertainty given the on going tsunami that is currently sweeping across the corridors of Anambra Light House.
Shortly after Soludo had directed all political appointees to submit their handover notes , it was touted that the untouchables or supper appointees would not be affected by this wave of cabinet reshuffle.
A case in point was that of the Chief Of Staff Chief Earnest Ezeajughi who many felt that he was part of the kitchen cabinet as well as the Secretary of the State Government SSG Professor Solo Chukwulobelu.
Others include the Deputy Chief Of Staff Chinedu Nwoye a man profiled as a” Soludoist” but the unthinkable actually happened.
When the name of former Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning Mrs Chiamaka Nnake was announced it took all and sundry unawares and deepening the charged moment was that of Ezeajughi.
Being the Boss , Soludo knows how to appoint his staff and only him knows how and why they should be relieved of their appointments.
For Ezeajughi it is indeed a glorious opportunity for the former and first black Mayor of London Borough of Brent to put his wealth of experience to bare in the governance of Anambra state.
For many it appeared a difficult task for Ezeajughi to adapt to the admistrative style of governance in Africa but he proved book makers wrong .
Countless members of the public are still wondering how he was able to navigate through the mulkky waters of deliberate redtapism that has been the bane of the Nigeria’s Civil Service and came out clean .
He was the rave of the moment as it where and glowing testimonies have continued to trail his four years as Chief Of Staff.
However Ezeajughi remains greatful to Governor Charles Soludo for finding him warthiy to serve his state in his cabinet and is willing to continue to serve the state in any capacity that the Governor needs him .
From the political class to the entire work force of Anambra state it has been a full basket of tributes and encomiums to Ezeajughi and above all to Governor Charles Soludo who in his wisdom found him a useful resource person to pilot ever demanding office of the Chief Of Staff.
As the Tsunami continues to sweep through the landscape, many more of the untouchables are bound to go or may be redeployed as Mr Governor chooses and this coming week would herald more new kids on the block.
