But the authorities turn blind eyes to the issues towards finding solution to the darkness that has sentenced the residents of Anambra state to over one month of untold hardship and perpetual frustration of human and economic activities.

They refused to make any firm promise of improved power supply in Anambra state but were more interested in protecting their individual interests to the detriment of the general public.

Speaking shortly after the meeting Comerade Osita Obi recalled how he has been receiving threatening calls on his life and that of his family warning him that he would be held responsible for whatever fall outs from the protest.

“In the last two days I have not texted or had a sound sleep due to several threatening calls of over 157 and all they do is to warn me not to hold the protest and what would happen to me in the unlikely event”
