Governor Bala Mohammed has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to protecting lives and property across Bauchi State following bandit attacks that affected five villages in Futuk District.
Speaking during an on-the-spot assessment visit to the affected communities, the governor assured residents that decisive measures were being implemented to prevent a recurrence.

He condemned the banditry, describing it as unacceptable and contrary to the peace Bauchi State has long enjoyed.
According to him, security agencies have been mandated to intensify patrols, strengthen surveillance and ensure that those behind the attacks are apprehended.
The governor also stressed the importance of community collaboration in tackling insecurity, urging residents to provide timely intelligence to security agencies.
Residents welcomed the governor’s swift intervention, describing it as a demonstration of responsive leadership at a critical time.
