GWAGWALADA, FCT – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Mohammed Kasim of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) the winner of the Gwagwalada Area Council election, securing 22,165 votes against 17,788 for APC’s Yahaya Shehu. APGA’s  Biko Umar followed with 1,687 votes.

Announced by Returning Officer Prof. Philip Akpeni on Sunday, the election across 10 wards was described as peaceful.
