Abuja, Nigeria – Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has joined the APC’s Committee on Strategy, Conflict Resolution, and Mobilisation, a move aimed at bolstering party unity and reconciliation. The committee, chaired by Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, comprises influential leaders from across the federation, including Governors Uba Sani, Hope Uzodimma, and Bassey Otu, as well as federal ministers
The committee’s primary objective is to address internal conflicts, strengthen grassroots appeal, and ensure aggrieved party members are heard. Chairman Buni emphasized the need for collective action, stating, “We must not allow personal interests to override the collective good”
Governor Fubara’s involvement signals his commitment to the APC’s national stability efforts and positions him as a key player in the party’s strategy. His participation is seen as a move towards high-level diplomacy, ensuring Rivers State remains crucial to the party’s national agenda
