Oba, Idemili South – A prominent stakeholder and chieftain of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Henry Ifediorah Anyinofu, popularly known as “Mbuze Oba”, has thrown his weight behind Hon. Amaka Obi’s bid for a second term as Mayor of Idemili South local government.
Addressing newsmen in Oba, Chief Anyinofu described Hon. Amaka Obi as a “large-hearted leader, a reputable humanist, and a God-fearing individual” who has made significant contributions to the development of the council area. He lauded her ability to build strong relationships among the various communities in Idemili South, citing her success as evidence of her dedication to public service.
According to Chief Anyinofu, Hon. Amaka Obi’s re-election is crucial to the continued development of Idemili South, emphasizing that she is driven by a desire to serve, not to accumulate wealth. He appealed to the governor, national and state chairmen of APGA, and other party leaders to support her candidacy, warning against attempts to undermine her chances.
Chief Anyinofu also cautioned the residents of Idemili South to be wary of opponents who engage in blackmail and character assassination, assuring that Hon. Amaka Obi has a strong chance of winning the second tenure based on her track record and pedigree.
” Iyom Amaka Obi has a very bright chance of winning the chairmanship election. She is the best in terms of her track records and pedigree,” Chief Anyinofu concluded.
