The controversy generated over the installment of a Chieftaincy tittle on the widow of late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Amb Bianca Ojukwu by Chief Austin Ndigwe who claim to be the Traditional Ruler of Awka kingdom is deepening following the insistance of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA Media Warriors that Anambra state is not a Banana Republic where illegality thrives .
The Anambra state government had in a statement by the Commissioner for Local government and Town Union Affairs Chief Tony Collins Nwabunwanne disowned the tittle insisting that Chief Austin Ndigwe is not the Monarch of Awka kingdom and has no right whatsoever to confer titles on people.
According to the Coordinator APGA Media Warriors Evangelist Chinedu Obigwe in a statement, those supporting the illegal tittle are leaving in self delusion adding that the state government cannot watch while the Traditional Institution and values of the Igbo are being abused

“Those behind the above referred publication are incurable fools at forty that will remain fools forever”.
They made failed attempt to support Austin Ndigwe desecration of igbo’s traditional institution.”
“The position of Governor Soludo administration with regards to the authentic traditional ruler of Awka that is recognised by government cannot be faulted by any sane mind”
“Anambra is not a banana republic where everything goes” he said.
Obigwe stated that anyone that is parading himself as Traditional Ruler without the recognition of the Anambra state government remains an impostor adding that the weigh of the law would sure catch up on those fellows
“Anybody parading himself as a traditional ruler without following the laid down procedures and without government recognition is an undisputed impostor”
“As a matter of fact , the position Governor Soludo administration is defending today is the right position.”
“Austin Ndigwe does not have the right to parade himself as Awka traditional ruler and he is also not in a position to perform the functions of a traditional ruler”
“The position of government is that the traditional ruler of Awka is His Royal Majesty igwe Gibson Nwosu and not Austin Ndigwe”
“Anybody challenging him is fighting government and Governor Soludo adminidtration is fully prepared to bring the full weight of the law upon that person” he said.
As for Bianca acceptance of a Chieftaincy honour from the impostor Austin Ndigwe, it is completely wrong and condemnable.
He recalled that Bianca has been honoured by many traditional rulers with Chieftaincy title and those honours did not raise any dust and that the reason that of Austin Ndigwe is raising dust is because he is not a recognised traditional ruler in Anambra State and what he is doing in Awka is a desecration of igbo’s traditional institution.
“Governor Soludo administration frowned at Bianca decision to accept a Chieftaincy honour from an impostor because she knows the position of government to Austin Ndigwe’s naked dance of shame in Awka”
_The recognised traditional ruler of Awka is igwe Gibson Nwosu and any other person parading himself as Awka traditional ruler is dwelling in self deceit” he stated.
