The Mayor of Idemili South Local Government Area, Hon. Mrs. Amaka Obi (Iyom Ife-Abata), has extended warm felicitations to the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, on the occasion of their 33rd wedding anniversary, describing their marriage as a shining example of love, unity and shared purpose.
In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, December 27, the Idemili South Mayor expressed joy and gratitude to God for the enduring marital journey of the Soludos, noting that their union has continued to inspire families and leaders across Anambra State and beyond.
According to Iyom, the Governor’s marriage has over the years served as a mirror through which many couples shape their own marital lives, owing to its foundation on love, hope, commitment and mutual understanding. She described the relationship between Governor Soludo and his wife as one anchored on shared values and divine bonding.
“As the Mayor of Idemili South Local Government Area, I am honoured to extend heartfelt felicitations to Governor Soludo and his partner in life, Dr. Mrs Soludo, as they celebrate another year of love, commitment and divine bonding,” she stated.
Hon. Obi further noted that the 33rd wedding anniversary bears witness to the strength and unity of the Soludos’ marriage, which she said continues to inspire many within and outside the state.
While noting that the celebration of the First Family in Anambra goes beyond a family milestone; the Mayor also used the opportunity to commend Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership in Anambra, emphasizing that the state, under his administration, has recorded visibly remarkable growth and development across critical sectors. She observed that the Governor’s visionary policies and commitment to excellence have positively touched the lives of many citizens in different parts of the state, positioning Anambra as an arrow of hope and progress.
“We celebrate not only your marital union but also your dedication to the welfare of Ndị Anambra,” she added.
Wishing the couple continued love, peace and happiness, Hon. Obi prayed that their marriage would continue to flourish and blossom, while also drawing strength from divine grace. She further invoked God’s abundant blessings upon the Solution Family, expressing hope that the years ahead would be filled with fulfilment, joy and many more reasons to celebrate.
