FedPoly Oko Rector Bags Title of Nwanyikaibeya from Lude Community

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, Dr Chioma Irene Awuzie, was on Saturday, December 27, 2025, honoured with prestigious chieftaincy title of Nwanyikaibeya I of Lude by the traditional ruler of Lude Ahiara Autonomous Community in Imo State, HRH Eze Cyril Uwaoma.

The honour, according to the traditional ruler, is a recognition of Dr. Chioma Awuzie’s outstanding contributions to human capacity building, her commitment to empowering people, and the countless lives she has touched, especially across Imo State and beyond.

The monarch said that Dr. Awuzie’s leadership has continued to reflect service, excellence, compassion, and impact-values that resonate far beyond institutional walls, and into communities.

In her response after the chieftaincy title, which took place at the palace of the traditional ruler in Lude Ahiara, Imo State, the elated Rector, who was accompanied by her husband, Chief Fidelis Awuzie, as well as other family members, friends and well wishers, thanked the monarch for the honour, and assured that the gesture would propel her to do more for humanity.
