Emmy Young Commends Nnobi Special Title Holders for launching N25m scholarship fund

Youth Leader of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), in Nnobi Ward 1, Idemili South local government area of Anambra state, Mr. Ezeunyim Nnaemeka, has commended the Nnobi Special Title Holders for Launching N25m scholarship fund.

 

Mr. Nnaemeka, popularly known as Emmy Young in a statement during the weekend, expressed his heartfelt commendation to the Special Title Holders for their groundbreaking initiative, which he said, is a transformative annual scholarship programme designed to support ten outstanding indigenous students from Nnobi, providing each recipient with N500,000 to cover tuition and accommodation costs.

 

According to him, “This impressive scholarship fund reflects the commitment and dedication of the Nnobi Special Title Holders to the educational advancement of the youths.

 

“By investing in the future of the students, they are not just providing financial support; they are also laying the groundwork for a brighter future for Nnobi community.

 

“The scholarship initiative is set to grant ten deserving students the financial assistance they need to pursue their higher education dreams. By alleviating the financial burdens of tuition and accommodation, the fund will inspire academic excellence and empower the youths of Nnobi to achieve their full potential.”

Emmy Young, who is a Social Media Influencer, and a staunch advocate of good governance, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in educational growth and community development.

 

“Education is a powerful tool for change. This scholarship fund will not only benefit the selected students, but will also enrich the entire community as these young minds come back to contribute positively after their education,” he said.

 

“The launch of the N25 million scholarship fund, he added, is a significant step towards promoting educational opportunities for the youths of Nnobi.

 

“This landmark initiative will empower the next generation of Nnobi scholars, removing financial barriers and enabling them to pursue academic excellence with full focus and confidence. We must work together to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed. I look forward to seeing the positive impact of this scholarship fund in the years to come.”

He also offered high praise for the traditional ruler of Nnobi, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Engr Nick Obi FNSE who he said, established the Nnobi Special Title Holders.

 

“The creation of this organ demonstrates a forward-thinking approach to leadership and community engagement by His Majesty, Igwe Nick Obi,” Young remarked.

 

“His Royal Majesty, Igwe Nick Obi has shown remarkable vision and dedication by creating the Nnobi Special Title Holders to drive development initiatives. This sets a precedent for other communities to follow, demonstrating how traditional leadership can effectively complement modern governance.”

 

Young also suggested that more illustrious sons, who have the welfare of Nnobi at heart, should be initiated into the Special Title Holders circle, in order to give a boost to what they are doing.
