Waste Disposal Paydirect Contractors Back Soludo For Second Term

In a display of solidarity and appreciation for a convivial working relationship, the Anambra Waste Disposal Paydirect Contractors Association has endorsed Governor Charles Soludo for another four years in office.

The body has been involved waste disposal and management noted that it has been a great working relationship with the regime of Soludo adding that they would ensure that in the next four years they would up their standards in that regard.

According to the Chairman of Anambra Waste Disposal Paydirect Contractors Association Mr Uchenna Auswell Okpala Ezissi who spoke to reporters at the occasion,

“We have been working with the Anambra state government in the area of waste disposal and management and so far it has been excellent and the state government has continued to assist us in no small measure and that explains why the governor is getting our endorsement”

Okpala further expressed the appreciation of the Commissioner for Environment Engr Felix Odumegwu as well as the Managing Director of Anambra Waste Management Agency ASWAMA Chief Ifeanyi Ozoemena describing the duo as good team players in the areas of waste disposal and management.

“With the assistance of our Commissioner for Environment and the Managing Director of Anambra State Rd Waste Management Authority ASWAMA we have been able to provide zero tolerance to wastes in Anambra state and we shall continue in that regard to ensure a clean and healthy Anambra state ” he said.

Okpala also urged the Anambra state government to go a step further to look into any burning issued that may affect waste disposal and management and the state promising that the Association would give it all the supports that government may require.
